Celebrating special mothers
With all the voting hype the last few weeks, it's possible that many people totally forgot that this Sunday, 11 May, is Mother’s Day. Factor in the fact that time flies by so quickly and with all the holidays we had in April, it is no wonder that Mother’s Day has fallen to the back of our minds.
It is so easy to run to the nearest Woolies and buy Mom a lovely gift, but do we actually sit down and really think what our mothers mean to us? Do we as mothers realise what we mean to our children? And the last question: do we have to single out one day in the year to commemorate our mothers?
The answer is a definite: YES! When else would we make time to spend with our mothers, or spoil her with her favourite treat? Yes, we should do that every day, but reality is that time flies by so quickly, because we are so terribly busy each day.
So, my suggestion is, really plan something special for this coming Mother’s day so that you both will remember it for a very long time. It could be something as simple as a day at a spa or a night away at a five star accommodation establishment like Tladi Lodge Hotel.
Think out of the box and do something special– show your love and appreciation.
