September is a busy month
So many things are happening during the month of September that it is no wonder everybody gets out and about, ready to live life to the fullest.
On 1 September we celebrate Spring Day. The days are warming up, the birds are singing earlier each morning and the blossoms are blooming. Spring is definitely in the air. So go on, time to tan those pearly legs, wear a sunhat and sunscreen, and get out of winter mode.
3 September is Secretary’s Day. This is truly a day to celebrate all those secretaries that work so hard to keep the office running. It is their turn to be spoilt. So come on ladies, don’t wait for the boss to spoil you, do it yourself. Will it be a day at the spa, or just a day relaxing next to the pool with a cold beverage in hand?
Or are you saving all your energy for the Heritage Day or National Braai Day celebrations on24 September? You can join the crowds, or relax at home with a juicy steak sizzling away on your own braai.
And not to mention wedding fever this time of the year. This is the time when so many weddings take place understandably so, as the weather is not too hot, yet not too cold and the rainy season hasn’t started yet.
This time of the year is definitely when South Africans feel the energy. Get out, get about and use up all the stored energy from the winter and live a little.
